Y3 reframes sleep as a terrain shaped by late-capitalist logic, where rest is marketed, commodified, and unequally accessible. Through mattress ads, scrolling feeds, clocks, and receipts, the work unravels the entanglement of labour, consumption and desire, placing an exhausted, spectral worker at the threshold between relentless productivity and the elusive promise of comfort. In this suspended state, Y3 questions how the very space of dreaming has been colonised by economic pressures, inviting us to confront the hidden toll of a society that demands both waking labour and uninterrupted performance.
